The Ley family has owned and farmed these 18.5 acres since 1949. David Ley was the original ‘pioneer’ of the property and planted out orchards of apples, pears, and a variety of soft fruits.
In 1974 David’s son, Tom, took over 9.5 acres of the property and and in 2008 built Lake Country’s first Agri-Tourism related RV Park offering guests a warm and friendly atmosphere among the sweet corn and apples he produced.
In 2019 the property was replanted with cherries. As we all know, Okanagan cherries are fantastic and the switch in crop went very well.
After Tom passed away in 2023, his younger brother Michael Ley took over the RV Park and Farm operations. Michael and his wife Bonnie purchased the property in 2025 and are extremely excited to carry on the legacy that has been built on the property.
We look forward to continuing to share this fantastic piece of the Okanagan with you and be a part of your relaxing days in the Okanagan sun!
